I offer a personalized boutique service with very limited space.  Does your child need someone with specialized training?  Does your child thrive on direct instruction and extra attention?  Do you need the art of a highly skilled and experienced teacher?

If a personalized plan is your preference, we should have an exploratory conversation to decide whether I am the right fit for your student. 

Simply call me to discuss your specific needs and to have your questions answered. Additional steps will depend on your situation and individual objectives.  This may include informal assessments, academic record review, or a diagnostic ACT test.

I teach everyone from second graders to high school seniors in basic math, pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, and geometry.

I provide support in all areas of language arts from first grade to college.  Additionally, I have specialized training in emergent literacy that is specific to students struggling with reading and writing.  I have been a certified Reading Teacher or Reading Specialist in Massachusetts, Illinois, and Texas.

It is very difficult to make substantial progress without a corresponding investment of time and energy.  Success doesn't happen overnight.  Typically, I schedule a minimum of twice per week.  College students begin with a planning session and add additional time according to their needs.  

Also, due to the limited number of clients I accept, I typically make myself available at non-scheduled times for those instances when a student is stuck on independent work or requires feedback prior to our next scheduled visit.

I conduct both in-person and virtual tutoring sessions.  If you live near Montgomery, TX, in-person instruction is available.  If you reside in another location such as Fort Worth, Houston, or Austin, I utilize Zoom with electronic white board integration for virtual instruction.

My rates are consistent with private tutors of similar education, background, and experience.  Please inquire directly about your specific needs.

Payment may be made via Zelle or personal check.

Life happens.  Lessons may be cancelled.  Please provide a minimum of 24hrs notice via phone, text, or email.  I normally allow one lesson "no show" without timely notice, but I do charge the client for additional occurrences.  Consistent attendance is vital to see positive change.
